Many of our horses go to out of state buyers and are shipped via commercial horse transport services. We have several favorite companies that we have used, and will be glad to make recommendations, if you desire.
We also try to "go the extra mile" to insure that your horse arrives safely. We prepare them to load in whatever trailer you use, and to wear shipping boots, if you wish. All of our horses have been in and out of trailers since they were little. We have a ramp on our trailer, but can acclimate them to a step up trailer if need be. Even our weanlings lead, tie, load and trim before they leave the farm; this is a safety issue and helps to insure smooth transportation.
We have a regular worming and vaccination schedule and all of our horses are current on shots, worming, and trimming when they leave the farm.
