We have been breeding horses for 25+ years. We strive to breed show quality horses and have found that quality is appreciated by many customers, whether they show or ride for pleasure.
All of our horses to start out with a great pedigree of documented award winners or producers. All of our horses are bred to be ridden, but we still want them to have "head turning" good looks, so we are very picky about the mares we breed, and the stallions they are bred to. We breed to a lot of World Champions, but we also use a number of APHA and AQHA Champions, as that signifies a horse who can perform and be pretty at the same time.
Our fillies and mares carry the bloodlines of such notable stallions as
Zippo Pine Bar, AQHA Hall of Fame.
The Claim to Fame, Superior Halter, Superior producer in halter and performance
Zippos Final Chapter, Amateur Versatility Award, earner of numerous Honor Roll titles and over 2000 points.

Skipa Heathen, World Champion and Leading Sire.
Real Bonanza, APHA Champion and Leading Sire.

For 2009 we have mares bred to such notable stallions as:

We have 4 to 6 foals a year and we purposely keep our operation small, so all of our foals gets lots of handling. We do not stand a stallion, and our breeding is done primarily with shipped semen. The mares and babies start loading in and out of the trailer when the foals are just 7 days old, and continue to be haltered and handled throughout the breeding season. When weaned, the babies go to the round pen and learn basic manners, like picking up their feet and to stand tied. Our horses like people and come to us when they are in the pasture. They have super dispositions and most are suitable for youth or amateur riders at a young age.

We try to be as reasonable as possible when we price our horses, and base the price on quality, breeding and training. We do lots of videos and pictures (when the weather permits) and try to show the things you need to know about that particular horse, just by watching the video. A large number of our sales are completed without the customer coming to the farm. For those who come, we do private lessons and work with the customers on an individual basis. We try to match horses and customers as best we can because we want a successful out come from each sale. However, all sales are final.
